Etymology

Represents a two-legged individual on a flat surface, i.e. the floor.

Production

• This two-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
  1. 
     Posture the nondominant hand in the “open B” handshape about half an arm's length in front of the center of the trunk (typically with the upper arm hanging straight down from the shoulder, the elbow bent at a right angle, and the forearm pointing diagonally ahead from the elbow), nondominant palm facing up. Posture the dominant hand in screen size with the dominant hand at the palm of the nondominant hand, extended finger(s) of the dominant hand pointing down.
  2. Hold both hands still briefly.
